Jason Isbell New Haven reviews
Jason Isbell at the Oakland Fox: Pure class.
This was my fourth time seeing Isbell. His growth as an artist is astounding. With a new album under his belt along with the songs from Southeastern, his DBT days and earlier solo efforts, he now has a rich catalogue to choose from. The Fox offered a stunning art deco palace with great sound and wonderful amenities.
Isbell's command of the stage and the 400 Unit band was obvious through out as he effortlessly went from folk to country to straight ahead shredding rock and roll.
Don't miss him if he comes your way. And as for the Fox, this was my first time there and I'll be looking for my favorite artists to come here.
